  • Abstract:

    The Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert equation (LLGE) comes from a model for the dynamics of the magnetization of a ferromagnetic material. In this talk we will first describe existing finite element methods for numerical solution of the deterministic and stochastic LLGEs. We will then present another finite element solution to the stochastic LLGE. This is a work in progress jointly with B. Goldys and K-N Le.
