  • Abstract:

"In this talk I'll exhibit the interplay between Selberg integrals (interpreted broadly) and random matrix theory. Here an important role is played by the basic matrix operations of a random corank 1 projection (this reduces the number of nonzero eigenvalues by one) and bordering (this increases the number of eigenvalues by one)."
