Analyses of Marine Mammals, Birds and Fish

Bryan will be talking about his work with Western EcoSystems Technology Inc. in the USA where his work involves projects assessing endangered fish in rivers and fisheries bycatch of marine mammals and birds using change point methods. Sampling designs and analysis for the Alaska Marine Mammal Observer Program will be discussed as will various analyses for the San Luis and Delta-Mendota Water Association and the Metropolitan Water Association of Southern California. Research for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers involves predicting fish survival rates in dams in the Columbia River Basin using the virtual/paired release method.
